First of all thank you to all of you for your kindness, cards and messages of sympathy on my Mum's death. With the interruption of Easter we seem to have been saying a long goodbye.
Have had to order the Steinbeck as Knutsford library let me down for once. There are two copies of Cannery Row in Wilmslow for some reason so will have to wait till they get it over for me.
A propos eating, has anyone else tried the Room chain- www.roomrestaurants.com I have only eaten at the Manchester one once and it was a lunch time. The food was fine, if a bit chain produced like Pizza Express. Sadly the one in Liverpool produced almost uncooked swede for an Xmas lunch I went to so don't know what other feel. Just a suggestion and it is central.
