Many thanks for the birthday wishes and cards. I had a wonderful holiday as, being retired and free agents now, we took advantage of this gorgeous weather and went up to the northern Lake District for a couple of days. Such beauty and peace - no mobile connections and very poor TV reception. It was just blissful.
I've booked Abode for 6.00 on Monday, 11th June, provisionally for eight of us: Andi, Erica, Jonathan, Kerry, Lisa, Penny, Sue and me. Its booked in my name but they recognised the Book Club as soon as I said it was for us.
Enjoy the Jubilee celebrations.
